Plasma Fibroblast

Plasma Skin Regeneration

Plasma fibroblast therapy, also called plasma skin resurfacing, or Plasma Skin Regeneration. Is a skin treatment designed to improve the look of your skin
by increasing the number of fibroblasts, the collagen-and protein-producing cells in your skin. Plasma fibroblast therapy is an aesthetic procedure
to tighten and improve the appearance of skin, fine lines, and wrinkles.

What is plasma skin regeneration therapy?

Plasma Skin Regeneration therapy targets fibroblasts. These are collagen– and protein-producing cells in the dermis.

Fibroblasts play an important role in helping the wound healing response and maintaining skin firmness and tightness.

Plasma Skin Regeneration therapy uses a pen-like device that discharges a high-frequency electric current to small areas on the face and body of the
skin.

The plasma tip does not directly touch the skin, this releases a targeted current just above the skin. The hot current creates small dots or micro-injuries, on
the skin’s layer. (Epidermis).

The thermal disruption, from the plasma fibroblast treatment breaks down proteins in the skin encourages new tissue regeneration and stimulates
fibroblast activity to cause tissue tightening.

What are the benefits of plasma skin regeneration
therapy?

Plasma skin regeneration therapy is a non-surgical treatment that is used to treat, acne scars, photoaging, age spots, seborrheic keratosis, and excess skin in areas like eyelids, to firm and tighten the area, neck, jawline, and above the lips for a fuller lip.

Does it work?

Yes! Plasma Skin Regeneration helps to improve skin texture, and mild-to-moderate skin tightening. Depending on the area you may need more than just one treatment to get your desired result the effects are expected to stimulate fibroblast production for up to 1 year after treatment, and last up to 3 years.

Before your treatment

Cleansing the skin and applying a topical anesthetic (numbing) cream, 1 hour before your appointment, then again 30 minutes before and when you arrive at your appointment.

The procedure usually takes about 30 to 60 minutes to perform.

Recovery Time

Once the procedure is completed, you can expect the small dots to scab over and fall off after about 1 week. Over the next couple of weeks, as your skin heals, it should appear tighter and firmer.

Some people may see benefits from one treatment, while others may require three treatments before they see results.
